Container Crane Improves Cargo Handling

MHE-Demag provided Overland Total Logistic Services (M) Sdn Bhd with one 40t double-girder container handling crane, with a lifting height of 12 metres and a span of 25 metres.

This was in response to the customer’s need for an effective handling solution to cater to the growing demand in the import and export of cargo between Malaysia and Thailand, in the Northern state of Perlis in Malaysia.

The system was designed in such a way that if a second container handling crane was required, it could easily be incorporated into the existing system. The after-sales support was provided by MHE-Demag’s branch in Prai which was nearest to Overland Total Logistic.
