C Crane for the Concrete Industry

MHE-Demag supplied a well-known company in Malaysia dealing in concrete products, such as concrete piles and pre-stressed I-beams, with a C Crane to help in the fabrication and transportation of their products.

With a span measuring 20m and a hook path of 8m, the electric overhead travelling crane was designed to carry a load of 12.5t. In addition to a cantilever outreach of 4.8m, the C Crane had two unique features – the cantilever, plus its shape, enlarged the working envelope of the crane, which suited a specific need of the client for which a normal crane’s capabilities would be too limited.
