We are steadily evolving as we handle even the most challenging projects

MHE-Demag Taiwan Turns Five!

Time flies very quickly!  It is MHE-Demag Taiwan’s (MDTW) 5th anniversary already!  MDTW was incorporated in 24th June, 2010 and officially took over date from Realm Corporation with effect from 1 January, 2011.  MDTW celebrated its anniversary with all the staffs on January 15, 2016. The celebration was also in conjunction with local cultural year-end luncheon practices as a token of appreciation to staff for the whole year of hard work and efforts. This year-end luncheon was also a very special occasion as we have 16 staff to receive their 5-year service award.  We interviewed two of the staff.
“It is a big difference between Realm Corporation, a local company and MDTW in terms of corporate culture and management.   I was an engineer in charge of electrical part for project in Realm Corporation.  But I have learned to become a manager in MDTW and collaborated with our co-workers and subordinates under management of foreign corporate culture and a new work environment to provide our customers with excellent service together.” said Boss Lee, Service Division Manager.
“The Crane & Components has been our traditional core business in Taiwan while IPD has been a late comer in the market.  It was not easy from beginning 5 years ago; we stared IPD business from ground zero, we have successfully completed IPD projects such as the first 3 units of roof powered building maintenance units of Farglory Dome Co., Ltd., plus we just received an order of monorail building maintenance unit system from Royal Season Hotel in December, 2015.  As long as we persist, in the end we make it.” said Christoph Chang, Area Manager.
As usual, Raymond Ng, President started to introduce new staff who have just joined and later follow by a report of year-end achievements and financial performances as well as future direction and challenges ahead.
In additional to the 5-year service award, prizes were also presented to winner for the pedometer challenge. We had interview with two pedometer challenge winners as well. Peggy Liao, who is a female individual winner said: “ this is my first time to participate in pedometer challenge.  It was with much fun.  To achieve my own step goal, I walked for a few hours every day; at the same by doing so keeps me healthy. I feel energetic now.” Colin Lin is a male individual winner and also a running devotee.  He said: “I run as a habit every day.  I am more motivated to run for a few more kilometers by participating in pedometer challenge.  I am glad to be awarded as a winner.” Congratulations to all of them!
The whole event ended with a standing toast to the success for the year 2015 financial performances and meeting the challenges in 2016.  Happy New Year of Monkey!
