The DRH rope hoist from Donati combined with a trolley which runs on one or two beams also allows horizontal movements. All lifting (raise and lower) and traverse (right and left) movements are activated electrically and can be activated via a fixed pendant, a radio-control system or infra red. The electric rope hoist and the trolleys can be fitted on a beam (monorails) or can act as the lifting unit for other machines in which they have been incorporated, such as jib cranes, gantry cranes, or overhead travelling cranes.

Electric wire rope hoist in fixed configuration
 
  • This is the universal basic configuration, with fixing eyebolts that allow the DRH hoist to be fixed on a frame as a double girder trolley or in a suspended execution.
  • Made with modular components.
  • The basic components (motor, reducer, rope drum) are assembled in a coaxial line using high strength bolted connections in order to guarantee maximum use of the hook run and minimum overall dimensions of the hoist body.
  • Every connection can be inspected and has self-locking safety nuts.
  • FEM service group 1 Am, 2 m and 3 m: capacity from 800 to 20,000 kg. with hoists 2 and 4 rope falls.
  • FEM service group FEM 1 Bm, 1 Am, 2 m: capacity from 25,000 to 50,000 kg. with hoists 6 and 8 rope falls.
  • Lifting height from 4 m to 58 m.
  • Coaxial reducer with three stages of reduction and conical self-braking motor, enclosure IP55, insulation class F, complete with thermal probe as standard.
  • Standard supply voltage three-phase 400 V-50 Hz. (Voltage and frequency different from the standard are available on request)
  • Noise level less than 85 dB (A).
  • Plastic protective roof above the hoist's drum type “C”, “N” and “L” is supplied as standard.
  • Electromechanical overload device supplied as standard.

Electric wire rope hoist in configuration with normal headroom or articulated monorail trolley DST/N/S
 
  • Hoist with the same features as per fixed execution
  • Maximum capacity is up to 20,000 Kg, rope falls 2 and 4
  • The hoist is suspended and connected to the trolley that runs on the lower flange of the beam
  • The trolley is also available as an articulated version to run on curves
  • The trolley has supporting bars with circular cross-sections which support the hoist by a hinge-pin type suspension.
  • The trolley is composed of an idler wheel assembly and a drive wheel assembly, both have two wheels made of machined pressed steel and are mounted on spherical bearings which are permanently lubricated.
  • The wheels of the drive wheel assembly are opposing and have a crown gear wheel and are connected by a transmission bar.
  • The trolley motor is a conical self-braking type, progressive start up and it can be supplied with the following:
  • One travel speed of 8 m/min or 10 m/min or 16 m/min or 20 m/min
  • 2 travel speeds of 16/4 m/min or 20/5 m/min
  • The reducer is made with gears with helicoidally teeth which are permanently lubricated in an oil bath.

  • Hoist with the same features as per fixed execution
  • Maximum capacity is up to 20,000 Kg, rope falls 2 and 4
  • The hoist is set down on the trolley that runs on the lower flange of the beam.
  • Supporting bars with circular cross sections which support the hoist in a set-down position.
  • Counterbalance on the supporting bar in order to balance the eccentric weight of the hoist. 
  • The trolley is composed of an idler wheel assembly and a drive wheel assembly, both have two wheels made of machined pressed steel and are mounted on spherical bearings which are permanently lubricated.
  • The wheels of the drive wheel assembly are opposing and have a crown gear wheel and are connected by a transmission bar.
  • The steel supporting plates are adjustable along the bar and have an anti-derailment device.
  • The trolley motor is a conical self-braking type, progressive start up and it can be supplied with the following:
  • One travel speed of 8 m/min or 10 m/min or 16 m/min or 20 m/min
  • 2 travel speeds of 16/4 m/min or 20/5 m/min

Electric wire rope hoist in configuration with double girder trolley DRT
 
  • The hoist itself has the same features as per fixed execution
  • Maximum capacity 20,000 Kg for hoists 2 or 4 rope falls with double girder trolley span 1000 mm or 1200 mm
  • Maximum capacity 50,000 Kg for hoists 6 (32 t.) or 8 (40 t.) rope falls with double girder trolley span 1400 mm or  2240 mm or 2800 mm
  • Electric double girder trolleys travel on top of rails fitted on the crane beams, this allows the maximum hook path.
  • The hoist can be fitted on the top of the trolley or suspended, it can also be fitted in a transversal position relative to the crane's beams
  • The trolley's frame is made from steel and the wheels are two driven and two idler.
  • The wheels, pressed from carbon steel, rotate on permanently lubricated bearings.
  • The trolley has an anti-derailment device.
  • The trolley motor is a conical self-braking type, progressive start up and it can be supplied with the following:
